Current Teaching
The energy sector is constantly changing, from the rise of renewables to the recent energy crisis to the growing impacts of climate change. Organizations in the energy sector must constantly adapt. How can energy companies navigate all these changes? This course teaches quantitative and qualitative techniques, putting students in the shoes of decision-makers in energy-sector organizations.
I co-lecture the Energy Innovation & Management course, including sessions on energy system modelling and long-term planning in the energy sector.
Past Teaching
I deliver a guest lecture on land transport emissions, mitigation options, and challenges.
In this course, students learn about key concepts in corporate sustainability and develop skills to implement them in the real world. The course prepares students for making well-informed sustainability decisions in their future careers.
I coached the project track on "Emissions in Logistics" in 2022 and 2023, a multi-week group project within the course where students proposed a solution to reduce emissions in logistics for a large Swiss grocery chain.
In this course, students learned about exploratory, confirmatory, and predictive data analysis with applications to urban transportation and energy systems.
I was the sole TA in 2020, assisting with lectures, teaching a weekly review session, grading and giving feedback, and holding regular office hours.
I co-organized the “ENGR 311a: Women’s Perspectives in Engineering” Seminar, bringing in guest lecturers with graduate degrees in engineering to talk about their careers in academia, industry, or public service and share their advice.
I was a teaching assistant for APSC 174, the first-year course in linear algebra for engineering students.
I was a teaching assistant for APSC 171, the first-year course in calculus for engineering students.
